Chlorogenic is extracted from the leaves of Eucommia ulmoides Oliv by special refining process.

1) The chlorogenic acids from Eucommia ulmoides Oliv. has strong antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects.
2) Chlorogenic acids is a kind of effective phenolic antioxidants, the antioxidant ability of which is stronger than that of cafeic acid, phydroxyphenylpyruvic acid, ferulic acid,syringic acid, BHA and tocopherol.
3) Chlorogenic acid and its derivative has stronger radicals scavenging effects than that of ascorbic acid, cafeic acid and VE. It can effectively remove DPPH free radical,hydroxyl radical,superoxide anion free radical and also inhibit the oxidation of low density lipoprotein.
4) Eucommia Ulmoides P.E. has the function of anti-cancer and inhibiting cancer.
