Main Functions:
1. To treat stranguria due to heat, stranguria with blood, and dribbling rination with difficulty and pain, the herb is often used in combination with capejasmine fruit, cat-tail pollen, talc, climbing fern spore and other drugs for clearing heat to treat stranguria, and for removing heat from blood to stop bleeding.
2.To treat cough due to accumulation of phlegm and heat in the lung, yellow sputum and sore throat, the herb can be used alone with its decoction, or in combination with scutellaria root, fritillary bulb, platycodon root and other herbs for removing heat from the lung to dissolve phlegm.
